Someone gave me a lexmark x5495 all in one printer, scanner and fax, the scanner works but I cannot get it to print from my computer.
When any peice of paper comes out of the machine, it prints lines of code on top running down the left side of the sheet:
32983 @O JOHN D DOEADEAR
32983 T? JANE B DEAD
32983 @O JOHN D DOEADEAR
32983 @O JOHN D DOEADEAR
32983 @O JOHN D DOEADEAR
32983 @O JOHN D DOEADEAR
32983 @O JOHN D DOEADEAR
32983 @O JOHN D DOEADEAR
Theres different names thrown in there, every number on the left side is a different number, and the middle column goes with different 2-letter combos.
Anyone know what’s up?

I have a laser printer that I want to connect to our server to make it so everybody can print to it from Terminal Services. I have looked at several print servers made by linksys, d-link, etc but everyone says they have problems with setup. Can anyone suggest a good, reliable print server? Thanks!
The install is for windows XP clients on a Windows 2003 server.
Hi,
I just bought the linksys wireless-g printserver to make my HP Laserjet 4100 networked. I was wondering if it would be possible to make it a remote printer as well since I am out of the house a lot. I also have two networks, so in order to print I constantly have to switch the network I am on to print. It would be greatly appreciated if anyone has an idea?
