Currently I have an HP Laserjet 3015 for my home office. It’s an okay machine, but when I try to scan a multiple page document, the rollers in the feeder tray routinely pick up 2 or 3 pages at once. Is there a fix for this issue other than me standing over the printer manually feeding through 1 page at a time?
Alternatively, what are some non-industrial sized printers that do not have this problem?
I dnt know how to fix the roller issue other than making sure the pages don’t stick together.
however, as for printers that aren’t HUGE and wnt have that problem… Any new HP multifunction printer will work correctly… (I suggest if it’s your home office and you do A LOT of scanning / faxing / copying on it that you consider an Office Jet printer.
take a look around, shop around and you’ll find the right printer for the right price:

Get a q-tip or pad and some alcohol and rub the pick-up roller. That should solve your problem. Also, when yo scan multiple pages, always fan the pages and then, insert them in the unit. Another trick is to add a small stack of 5 extra blank pages to add weight.
What happens is that , after multiple scans, their is static on the roller and/or it gets dirty and not always visible to the naked eye. It loses traction feed.
