I’m interested in purchasing an All-In-One Printer/Scanner/Photcopier/Fax. I would like to have it attach to my PC so that i can transmit documents to print or fax (very important). Also i would like the printing aspect to be a laserjet as I am sick and tired of the drying out aspects of inkjets; I see myself using the unit eveyr 2 or 3 months for a couple jobs.
Can u recommend an all-in-one unit with the best price/performance/ease-of-use? If its possible Im hoping to be able to “refill” the laserjet toner instead of incurring the $100+ replacement.

get the Canon or HP.
Preferably one that is network ready. If you have a network of more than 1 system, all systems can take advantage of the device via the network.
If you get a non-network device, you would need to create a shared printer on the computer it is hooked to and that computer must remain on if you want to print.

I won’t recommend any of them, if 1 component goes up, you lose the functions of the others while it is getting repaired.

I recommend HP Photosmart 3110 All-in-One (Printer, Fax, Scanner, & Copier) .
The price is affordable and performance is just excellent that the photos/images printed/copied has no much difference from the commercial and expensive printers. Economic wise it’s not really a pain. There are 6 sets of vivera HP inks that you only replace the ones that are empty as shown in an alert reminder. You have an option to buy the genuine Hp inks or the immitation ones which also do the same job as the genuine ones half the price.
Operation and maintenance is just a breeze.
