I have three computers in my house, all laptops. I want all of them to be able to print off of one printer.
Does the network need to be setup on one computer and then added by the others? How do I do this?
Also, is there a way that the printer can just be plugged into the wall, not connected to any computers, and still be able to have all 3 print off of it?
The 2175 does not have wireless capability. I have one that has built in wireless. I just plugged it in, it searched and found my wireless network, and now all the computers in the house can print from that printer. It is an HP C6100.
If you don’t have one with wireles capability, then you have to network all your computers so that they can share that printer. I just bought the higher priced printer so I didn’t have to do the networking thing.
