Designing Your Envelope Printing
Designing your greeting cards that you’re going to give away to friends and loved ones is such an exciting and rewarding thing to do. And while you’re at it, why not include your custom envelopes as well? You can showcase your greeting card in a design that will match that of your envelope printing. In addition to having a consistent look inside and out, your decorated envelope also ensures that whatever is inside would be read right away when it arrives in the mail.
Here are simple yet effective tips that can make your envelope printing more exciting to your recipients:
Use a single focal point and message. This is especially true with a simple design for your cards or notes. Your envelope should be imprinted with a single attractive image to replicate the design inside. By providing one image that your recipients can focus on, you are already giving an idea of what to expect inside your custom envelopes. Your recipient would not also have a hard time understanding your message.
Use envelopes with stamped corners. Or one with an overall background design. This can be applied to cards that have fancy designs and embellished images. Again, the design in your envelope would be consistent with that of the greeting card or postcard inside.
Use stamps to imprint the recipients’ name in bright colors. Not only should you use a unique font, also apply different vibrant as well as brilliant shades to your recipient’s name to attract interest. Color actually provides excitement and anticipation of what they can expect to have when they open your envelope.
Stamp different themes on your envelopes. Thinking of sending a floral card, then stamp your envelopes with a wildflower design. What about an environmentally designed card and envelope? Whatever it is, your mail would benefit from the interest it would generate if you apply a theme that would be carried both by your envelope and the greeting card inside it.
Use a contemporary design. Imprint diagonal designs to match that of your greeting card or notepad. A contemporary design is very appropriate to the times, especially if the recipient is the kind of person who goes for fashionable and up-to-date fashion.
Use shadow stamping. It can be a background to your envelope printing as well as your greeting card or notepad. One graphic designer suggests that you repeat the shadow stamp at the front of the envelope where you can find the name and address. Then apply a background around the information with additional images found inside the envelope.
Use letter sets. Letter sets such as “To” and “From” can add to the fancy and unique design of your envelope printing.
By designing your custom envelopes, you are providing your recipients with something to look forward to and get excited with that they can’t wait to see what’s inside.

Envelope Printing ? Type of Flaps & Closure Complement To Your Envelopes
An envelope printing project is about much more than just selection of sizes and paper quality. There are much more important aspects of these business stationeries that demand closer looks and considering myriad options. Flaps and closures are two important areas that add to the formation of the envelopes. The closures you want must be dependant upon how you want to protect your documents and how you want to present it, whether open or closed. Depending upon how you want to seal your mailings, you can decide whether you want a
Standard seal is the seal that is required to be moistened with gums to remain stuck and closed.
Self-closing indicates to closing the document by ripping off the plastic backing that exposes a synthetic, permanent gum. This gum in self-closing envelopes prevents hassles of using tongue or messes of using sponge. The permanent gum protects contents inside tight for a long time or a long journey.
Reusable closing is ideal for envelope that is intended for interoffice or driver logs and etc. Reusable closure features clasps, fancy button and string to ensure safety of documents against getting torn.
No adhesive or un-gummed closing is perfect for the printing project which is not needed to be closed or does not require sealing. In this way, you can save on closing or gumming costs and forgo the gum. If you are printing large reusable envelope or keeping small items, consider no-gumming option for your printing project.
Similarly, you may consider an open end or an open end flap or a booklet catalogue. The open end or catalogue options have flap at the short end forming a portrait orientation. On the other hand, if your envelope printing project needs a landscape orientation, consider an open side or booklet flap design where the flap is kept at the long end. After you have made up your mind on the right kind of flaps or closing according to the one you are going to print – you are all set and get going for print.

Bored Customers? Envelope Printing Is The Answer
People are very busy nowadays that they do not pay much attention the letters and mails they receive because they’re always thinking that they’re just the same old offers that they’re getting. They’re just tired of seeing the same plain offers that they no longer attract the readers.
A few of those times, these ads and letters get kept. But for the most part, they are simply not given the proper attention you expect; and worse, they often end up in the trash can. So where does that leave you as the business owner?
You can always rely on envelope printing to help you make your target clients interested in your letters. Print envelopes play a big role in attracting your customers’ attention. If you want them to be paying attention to what you have to say, you better start doing you direct mail in print envelopes that pique their curiosity.
Envelopes create that connection between you and your customer. If you’re sending personalized printed envelopes then you are actually providing your target clients with that personal touch that lets them feel that they are a priority in your company. With a great template in your envelope printing, your target clients just feel that they are important and special.
A good envelope also reflects the stability of the company. It shows how professional you are and that you’re always looking out for the welfare of your customers that’s why you only want to give them the best in any collateral or marketing tool you send them. Hence, because of their professional look, there’s a greater chance that your recipients would want to open your envelope and read what you have to say in your letter.
An envelope attracts interest, thus, your recipients would want to at least take the time to read your message in your letter. And when they do, your target clients would definitely want to know more about you and what you can do for them.
So if you want to attract the attention of bored customers, try using a well designed print envelope.
