  1. Yes, the easiest way is if you have ur printer plugged into a computer on the same router, as your wireless connection. If this is the case you can network your 2 computers together and it will print through the other computer (so both computers have to be on). If that is your case google networking computers, its not too hard.

If you want to take another computer out of the equation, you can purchase a USB to bluetooth converter. Which is just a box you plug the USB cable into and it converts it to bluetooth. Which is like the same thing, however the range isn’t as far, prolly in the neighbor hood of 50 feet. I’m not to sure on the price but I would say around 50 bucks. If you want to do this ur computer also needs to be bluetooth capable, if ur PC doesn’t have bluetooth you can buy an adapter for ur PC for like 20 bucks that looks like a flash drive.

They also make bluetooth printers, which are pretty expensive, but allow you to print wirlessly.

  2. Ok… If the USB printer is connected to a computer that is on the network… Than all you need to do is go to the computer its connected to and in the control panel, hit the printers button, and set it to share the printer.

Then use the wireless device your trying to print from and go to the control panel and printers button… Add a printer… Then pick the one that says connected to another computer on the network…

  3. There are self contained wireless printers that connect to wireless routers.

There are routers with USB printer ports that can connect to a wireless access point.

There are wireless USB print servers (connects to wireless router).

And, any printer connected to another computer (that is turned on) and is connected to your network can print wirelessly if the router is wireless.

All of the above are possible solutions to printing wirelessly. So, no, you don’t need a special printer.
