I have a wireless router at home with 3 laptops connected. I would like to be able to print to the printer with all 3 laptops without connecting a usb. Do I just need to purchase a wireless print server? If so, which do you recommend? What sepc’s should I be looking for? Any additional pointer?

There are 3 ways you can set this printer up. It good that you have a router. If you could have mentioned the name of the printer then I could have checked if its got a network (Ethernet port).
This printer have to be setup in infrastructure setup, when a printer is connected directly to a computer wired on wireless then its called peer to peer or Ad-hoc setup.
While you do the network install its recommended to disable your anti-virus software as many times it has been found to block detection of printers on installation setup.
1st method (if you have Ethernet port)
Connect the printer to the router with a network cable. Make sure all three computers are connected to the router. Use the printer disc or Add remove programs to remove the old printer software installed. Then install the printer software on all three systems. While installing select network install. This will help all three computers to individually communicate with the printer.
2nd method (wireless print server)
This method can be used when there is no Ethernet port. However you need to find out if your printer supports them from the manufacturer. Dell printers have one which is called dell wireless 3300 adapter. It is only compatible with some models.
For this first it has to be connected to PC and all three need to have the adapter installed then the adapter has to be connected to printer and then the printer software has to be installed on the three computers.
3rd method (print sharing)
For this the printer needs to be connected to one computer with USB cable and when you want to print the computer which has the printer connected should be turned on. Go to control panel> printers and faxes> view installed printers > right click and enable print sharing. Find the IP address of the computer to which printer is connected Start>run>type cmd click open> type ipconfig hit enter> IT will show your IP address.
Go to the other two systems. start > run type \ then the ip address.> It will show you the printer icon on it double click on the icon and this will install the printer with sharing on other two systems
Hope this helps. Rocky
