As the network version of one of the most interesting desktop printers available today, the HP LaserJet P1505, the HP LaserJet P1505n adds Ethernet compatibility to an already impressive device. Designed with speed in mind, and speed alone, the P1505 competes for the top spot among its peers for print speed, and has one of the fastest first page out times of any device on the market of any kind, including industrial grade copy machines and MFCs.

With a print speed of up to 24 pages per minute for letter sized paper, the HP LaserJet P1505n will not keep you waiting when dealing with large projects and, even more notably, its first page out time of an amazingly fast 6.5 seconds places it in the highest ranks for single page speed against any machine available today, making it one of the best options for users who often print in very small quantities.

While the HP LaserJet P1505n is a proven champion for speed, it pretty much has nothing else to offer, which is a major plus for those looking to save a few dollars on a stripped down, no frills device, but who also require fast print times. While these numbers would be unacceptable in an intensive office environment, this print volume is ideal for the home user, or small office with light print demands.

While cost effectiveness forbids the inclusion of an automatic duplexor, manual duplex options are available for two sided printing. With such minimalistic hardware, the HP LaserJet P1505n comes in a very small package, weighing only 12.9 pounds with a footprint of 14.9 in x 9.6 in x 8.9 in (W x D x H) securing it as one of the most manageable monochrome personal printers in both size and price. With so much speed squeezed into such a small package, buyers of the HP LaserJet P1505n will certainly be very happy.

How do you print to your home printer using Remote desktop connection?

I have a PC at home that I use to connect to my work PC via remote desktop connection. The trouble is that when I try to print nothing happens.

When you log into RDP, there is an options button, and within that there is a check box that syas bring printing home (something like that). but it still doesn’t work…..

Any ideas?

How can I set up my desktop computer as a print server?

I ave a desktop computer that is connected via cable to my printer. I have wireless internet at home. But my printer does not have wireless or network connections.
I want to send a print job from my laptop to my desktop so that I can print something on my printer upstairs. How can I set up my desktop as a print server so I can just send it a print job from my laptop?
