Although we’re only in October its time to start thinking about whether you are going to send out any Christmas gifts to your customers, clients and staff. Leave it much later and you may struggle to get exactly what you want and more importantly you might struggle to get your Christmas gifts printed with your logo and any message you might want on the gift.
With the economy showing some signs, albeit weak ones, of recovery it’s a difficult decision whether to send Christmas gifts at all. But, if you are looking for a way to say “thank you” to your customers for the business they have given you over the year or you perhaps want to remind potential customer of who you are and what services you can offer them then an appropriate gift at Christmas can work wonders.
With staff the motivation for giving a gift at Christmas is normally to acknowledge the hard work and effort they have put in during the year and to encourage them to repeat their efforts during the coming year. It might be that you decide to reward certain individuals or a team(s) that have performer particularly well rather than every member of staff. Either way a “thank you” at Christmas is generally recognised to have a positive effect on staff morale.
