HP Introduces World’s Fastest Inkjet Printer All-in-ones, Expands Color Printing Options for Small Businesses

HP Introduces World’s Fastest Inkjet Printer All-in-ones, Expands Color Printing Options for Small Businesses

Palo Alto, CA (PRWEB) February 6, 2007

HP today expanded its color printing portfolio targeting small businesses, including the introduction of the world’s fastest inkjet printer all-in-ones and a new high-capacity ink cartridge line with HP Vivera inks.(1)

The portfolio offers industry-leading speed and affordability and includes three new high-performance HP Officejet Pro All-in-Ones, three new HP Officejet Pro single-function printers and a new low-cost HP Officejet All-in-One for improved productivity.

HP additionally unveiled an easy-to-download SureSupply Software Utility for enhanced supplies manageability as well as high-capacity HP Vivera ink cartridge products for extended cost savings.

“The high-performance HP Officejet Pro All-in-Ones provide small businesses with color printing comparable to laser printing with faster speeds and at a fraction of the cost,” said Karl Schwenkmeyer, vice president of marketing, Inkjet Systems, HP. “Today’s introductions are another milestone in HP’s commitment to deliver faster speeds and greater affordability while meeting the color printing needs of demanding business environments.”

Expanded color printing portfolio and new all-in-one printers

The new HP Officejet Pro inkjet printer series, the world’s fastest desktop printers for business color,(1) significantly drive down the cost of color printing, making it easy and affordable for businesses to produce brilliant and durable, professional-quality marketing materials in-house.

The printers are ideally suited for small businesses, which can increase productivity and save space by printing, copying, scanning and faxing in one convenient, single device that sits on a desktop. Both Officejet Pro printer series are built on HP’s Scalable Printing Technology, which offers faster speeds, lower costs and higher quality and reliability.

The HP Officejet Pro L7000 All-in-One inkjet printer series includes multifunction capabilities and allows users to quickly print documents of up to 12 pages per minute (ppm) black and up to 10 ppm color at Laser Quality Speeds, a measurement established by HP to offer customers a more direct comparison of the print speeds between ink and laser printers using comparable print qualities.(2) And they do this at up to 25 percent lower cost per page than comparable laser printers — as low as 6 cents per color page.(3) The Officejet Pro L7000 series is expected to be available in March and starts at $ 299.(4)

HP established Laser Quality Speed (LQS) to offer customers a more direct comparison of the print speeds between ink and laser printers using comparable print qualities. The print speed experienced by customers from an inkjet printer is dependent on many variables, including the coverage and content of the printed document. In contrast, laser print speed is much less dependent on document content and coverage. LQS allows a more direct comparison with published laser printer ppm specifications. For more information, visit http://www.hp.com/hpinfo/newsroom/press_kits/2007/smbcolorprinting/prodsol.html.

The HP Officejet Pro K5400 Printer series delivers fast, Laser Quality Speeds(2) and up to 25 percent lower cost per page than in-class laser printers,(5) with comparable print quality and reliability. This series is expected to be available in March starting at $ 149.(4)

The HP Officejet J5700 All-in-One Printer series, with expected availability in February and starting at $ 149,(4) offers customers another robust, versatile printing solution for increased productivity at an affordable price.

All the new Officejet devices use high-capacity, low cost-per-page ink cartridge products with a unique HP Vivera ink optimized for plain paper office printing. Specialized HP Vivera office inks provide laser-quality text and consistent, brilliant images for brochures and marketing collateral on any paper as well as highly smear-resistant results when using HP Everyday Papers with ColorLok Technology.

HP Everyday Papers with ColorLok Technology are HP’s plain papers designed with HP printers for office use. Documents printed on these papers dry quickly and resist smearing for excellent results.

All of the products listed above will be available at the HP Home & Home Office Store (http://www.hpshopping.com), HP’s direct to customer online store.

Customers share their experiences with the new HP Officejet Pro series

HP recently offered the new HP Officejet Pro L7000 All-in-One series to small business users through a beta test program. Los Angeles-based Law Offices of Philip H. Acosta tested the new products with the goal of printing marketing collateral in-house. Acosta’s office found that the new HP Officejet Pro L7000 All-in-One inkjet printer series helped keep its marketing pieces flowing, both for proofs and for printing color materials.

“The HP Officejet Pro is a good match for a small legal firm,” said Christina Acosta, vice president, Marketing and Advertising, Law Offices of Philip H. Acosta. “It’s very fast, especially for smaller jobs, and offers multiple functions and quality printing for a mix of text and color graphics.”

Winner’s Circle Realty & Construction Co. LLC, a customer home and real estate sales company based in Chowchilla, Calif., near Fresno, also tested the new Officejet Pro series to create custom brochures for listings, a front-line marketing tool for real estate professionals. Like most small businesses, Winner’s Circle needs office equipment that is both flexible and reliable, which is why owner Brian L. Kirkpatrick has turned to HP inkjet printers and all-in-ones for routine office tasks.

“I couldn’t be more satisfied with the print quality. It’s just excellent,” said Kirkpatrick. “The quality of output from the new Officejet Pro is almost like the printing of a fine coffee table book.”

Extended costs savings and simple supplies management

The HP SureSupply Software Utility desktop solution boosts supplies manageability by linking customers directly to HP SureSupply, where they can immediately view a list of original HP inkjet cartridges, LaserJet toner cartridges and HP papers compatible with their printers. More information is available at http://www.hp.com/go/shopforsupplies.

Additionally, optional high-capacity HP Vivera ink cartridge products offer small and medium-size business customers convenience and savings when printing in high volumes. High-capacity print cartridges give customers more prints, which translates to less time spent changing cartridges and more time spent on business. And HP’s expansive supplies portfolio, including high-capacity cartridges and dual cartridge packs, enables lower cost per page and total cost of ownership for Officejet and Officejet Pro printing systems.

Primera Introduces Home & Office CD / DVD Printer for $140

PLYMOUTH, MN (PRWEB) August 20, 2004

Primera Technology, Inc., the world’s leading developer and manufacturer of CD / DVD disc duplication and printing equipment, today announced its Signature Z1 CD / DVD Printer. Signature Z1 is a compact and affordable desktop printer that prints directly onto CD-Rs and DVD±Rs with tough, waterproof thermal transfer ink.

Up to four separate areas of the disc can be printed with Signature Z1. The unique, patent-pending mechanism prints each of four quadrants by spinning the disc and then applying ink in each area. This distinguishes Signature Z1 from other inexpensive thermal transfer disc printers that can print only a single line at a time on discs.

No More Marking Pens or Sticky Labels

Instead of writing on discs with a marking pen or using expensive and hard to apply

CD labels, Signature Z1 prints directly onto CD-Rs and DVD±Rs. Printing is fast; each disc takes less than one minute to print. Printed discs can include text, graphics and logos. The tough thermal transfer ink is highly scratch- and smudge-resistant as well as completely waterproof.

Signature Z1 is perfect for printing onto recorded CDs and DVDs that contain music, videos, photos, software, data and much more. The crisp text and graphics make every printed disc look finished and professional. Its compact size and easy to use software is ideal for use at home, school, or office.

Low Price but High Quality Results

“The Signature Z1 is our most affordable CD/DVD printer ever,” said Mark D. Strobel, Primera Technology’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “But despite its low price, it prints CDs and DVDs with the same quality and professional look as high-end thermal printers costing literally thousands of dollars.”

Signature Z1 sells for just $ 139.95 (MSRP). Everything a user needs to get started is included: the printer, a black ribbon, USB cable, AC adapter, label design software, operator’s manual and several sample CD-Rs.

Replacement ribbons cost $ 19.95 (MSRP) and will yield up to 200 print areas. A full-coverage disc has four print areas, so if only two print areas are selected – such as the top and bottom of the disc – printing cost per disc is just twenty cents. Ribbons are available in four colors: black, red, blue or green.

Signature Z1 is easy to set-up and operate. It connects to any PC running Windows® 2000/XP via USB 1.1/2.0. Simply enter your data, import graphics and logos, and print. The printer’s label design software can utilize any font on the PC and over 250 clip art images are included.

The printer is available now in over 80 countries through Primera Authorized Resellers and Distributors.

HP Unveils Imaging and Printing Devices, Solutions and Services for Enterprises: Introduces industry’s first comprehensive solutions business partner accreditation, certification and test program

PALO ALTO, Calif. (PRWEB) April 8, 2008

The company’s latest offerings help enterprises manage, secure and simplify their imaging and printing environments and improve workflows to reduce costs and enhance productivity.

The new offerings include six HP LaserJet printers, an enterprise-class scanner for document capture, three access control printing solutions, four printing services and an accreditation, certification and test program for HP’s software solution development partners.

HP also extended the reach of its $ 300 million “What Do You Have To Say?” global interactive marketing campaign to target large businesses. In the expansion, print and online advertising and interactive tools will showcase how 3M worked with HP to globally reduce its device count by 47 percent and save more than $ 3 million in just two years.

“HP has cultivated three factors essential to the global enterprise business: people, partnerships and portfolio,” said Vyomesh Joshi, executive vice president, Imaging and Printing Group, HP. “We have quadrupled the total contract value of HP Managed Print Services, bolstered our Print 2.0 strategy with the recent acquisition of Exstream Software and expanded our focus on imaging and printing solutions that help customers optimize their infrastructure, manage their environment and improve workflows.”

HP customer quality assurance for partner solutions

The new HP Solutions Business Partner Accreditation, Certification and Test program (ACT) is the industry’s first to accredit partners’ internal processes, review their designs and certify their solutions. The program gives customers confidence in the quality and feature richness of the solution, while reducing their implementation time and support costs.

Through the ACT program, HP ensures that the partner’s internal development and support processes are pre-qualified using HP’s stringent criteria and that applications have been tested to work with HP devices and software. Partners in the program must demonstrate consistent, high-quality delivery of specific solutions built on HP’s software development kits and the HP Open Extensibility Platform.

Ten partners, including Assentis, Capella Technologies, Captaris, Equitrac, Jetmobile, Kofax, MPI, Omtool, Pharos Systems and ReadSoft, are now accredited and have specific solutions in the certification process.

Imaging and printing security

The new HP Access Control Printing Solutions are designed to help mitigate security and compliance risks, prevent fraud, protect data privacy and enhance device fleet management. The solutions include:

— The HP Access Control Secure Printing Solution delivers enhanced print security through authentication, authorization and auditing to track printer usage by device and user. It includes a breadth of authentication options ranging from network log-in to card-based capabilities.

— The HP Access Control Secure Pull Printing Solution helps mitigate security and compliance risks and reduces paper waste by allowing print jobs to be encrypted and stored until the authorized user is ready to retrieve and print.

— The HP Access Control Job Accounting Solution is able to track detailed print, scan, copy and email usage by device, user, department or cost center. It accounts for print jobs effectively and aids in forecasting, internal billing and cost recovery.

Expanded device and document capture portfolio

Customers using the six new HP LaserJet devices can improve their adherence to security and compliance regulations in addition to increasing productivity. The product rollout includes:

— The HP Color LaserJet CM6040/6030 multifunction printer series series (MFP) is HP’s top-of-the-line color laser MFP designed to maximize office workgroup productivity with a feature-rich package that includes A3 printing, advanced finishing options, robust security and the HP Easy Select Control Panel. Priced starting at $ 7,999.(1)

— The HP LaserJet P4510 Printer series is HP’s fastest single-function black-and-white laser printer. A new monochrome toner formulation enables lightning-fast print speeds of up to 62 pages per minute (ppm). Priced starting at $ 1,599.(1)

— The HP Color LaserJet CP6015 Printer series, HP’s most powerful, productive and cost-effective color printer series to date, is designed for general office needs as well as the creation of exceptional color collateral with ColorSphere toner. The series provides the versatility of A3-size printing and supports the widest range of media. Priced starting at $ 3,899.(1)

— The HP LaserJet P4015/4014 is a value-packed, single-function black-and-white printer with security capabilities that include private printing options. The devices ensure fast, secure performance across the network. Priced starting at $ 1,099.(1)

— The HP LaserJet M9040/9050 MFP, designed for demanding departments of 30 to 50 users, improves business processes with high-volume, cost-effective printing with copying and digital sending from the HP Easy Select Control Panel. Priced starting at $ 9,999.(1)

In addition, HP expanded its document capture portfolio by introducing the HP Scanjet N9120 Document Flatbed Scanner. As HP’s first dedicated enterprise departmental-class scanner, the fast A3 flatbed scanner offers 50 ppm and versatile paper handling with an automatic document feeder. The HP Scanjet N9120 easily integrates with HP Web Jetadmin print management software and includes Kofax Virtual ReScan Professional.

New toner formulation reduces energy consumption

HP’s newly enhanced low-melt toner formulation reduces energy consumption. The toner, available with the new HP LaserJet P4015/4014, is designed to melt at lower temperatures, yet deliver print quality consistency at faster print speeds.

As a result, it requires 15 percent less energy to reach fusing temperature – enabling a 10 to 15 percent improvement in printing system energy consumption per page.(2)

Boost business productivity with new services

The four new services HP introduced help customers identify opportunities to improve the efficiency of their imaging and printing infrastructure and workflows.

The four assessment services include:

— The HP Industry Benchmark Assessment evaluates the health of an organization’s output environment, allowing comparisons between a company’s estimated imaging and printing environment against a series of specific industry benchmarks.

— The HP Optimization Assessment provides expert advice on how an organization can establish, control and manage its output environment. It provides cost recommendations for a future state fleet design and longer term strategies.

— The HP Managed Environment Assessment measures printing impact on a business and provides a holistic and clearly defined picture of the potential savings and improvements by engaging HP Managed Print Services.

— HP Workflow Discovery is a customized workflow analysis designed to streamline and improve business processes.

Marketing campaign

Building upon HP’s “What do you have to say?” campaign, which was introduced to the consumer and small to medium business market segments in August 2007, the new “Alternative Thinking About Printing” enterprise campaign is designed to inspire and empower customers to work with HP to optimize their imaging and printing infrastructures, manage their device environments and improve workflows.

The Print 2.0 Planner, a component of the interactive campaign, helps enterprise customers optimize their imaging and printing infrastructures by revealing their potential to strategically achieve business goals by effectively managing their networks.

HP closes acquisition of Exstream Software

HP recently closed the acquisition of Exstream Software LLC. Exstream software solutions streamline the creation and delivery of personalized documents and other communications materials. The acquisition allows HP to help businesses design, manage and publish content in a fully personalized manner via multiple channels, including print and online.

U.S. Branding Group Introduces USB Insert? Nano

Introducing USB Insert Webkey Nano, for more information visit www.webkey.com

Lake Worth, FL (PRWEB) August 30, 2010

U.S. Branding Group, LLC announced today the official launch of their USB Insert™ Nano webkey. USB Insert™ Nano is an extension of their already successful USB Insert™ print to web tool, which was launched earlier this year throughout North America.

“Our latest innovation is flat-out amazing”, said Rich Butler, Managing Director of the South Florida based technology marketing solutions company. “USB Insert™ Nano will amaze with its record thin housing of only one-eighth inch, and just like our regular size webkey, it can be integrated and custom die cut into any physical printed media such as brochures, direct mailers and magazine inserts, providing advertisers yet another new dimension in online marketing!”

Like its previous version, the patented USB Insert™ Nano includes a custom detachable, die-cut cardboard holder onto which the tiny webkey is integrated. When plugged into a USB port, it automatically routes readers in seconds to a landing page, micro site, online promotion, multi media presentation or e-catalog, where they continue to learn, experience or simply shop!

The process of die cutting and integrating webkeys in paper, enables unlimited customization in terms of shape, color, graphics and logo, without the high custom plastic molding costs. It makes a webkey affordable as a mass media marketing tool.

According to Butler, “What makes “Nano” so special, is it’s unbelievably small size. The consumer sees only a small USB connector portion of the web key extending from the custom cover. The cover and key together read as a single, integrated piece no larger than 1” x 1.5” in size.”

“Best of all”, says Butler, “because USB Insert™ Nano is so small, thin and lightweight, it can be fully integrated cost effectively into magazine advertisements and direct mail campaigns without the worry of increased postage rates.”

USB Insert™ Nano provides optional unique integrated tracking codes, which can then report visits using basic analytics packages, including Google Analytics. It works smoothly on every recent Windows and MAX OSX computer equipped with a USB port.

The USB Insert™ Nano webkey can adapt to an endless range of exciting new applications such as print collateral, consumer packaging , product hang tags, magazine integration and more. It is a compelling, innovative solution for forward thinking marketers in today’s digitally connected world.
