UTec to Grab Color Toner Market Share by Adding More High Quality Cartridges

UTec, which now offers one of the industry’s widest assortments of high quality color toner products, broadened its portfolio with dozens of remanufactured and compatible color toner cartridges for machines from Brother, Dell, Epson, Konica Minolta, Oki, Samsung, and Xerox. UTec also expanded its lineup of remanufactured cartridges for use in various Hewlett-Packard Color LaserJet units. Produced by its award-winning manufacturing partner, Print-Rite Unicorn Image Products Co. Ltd. of Zhuhai, UTec’s new compatibles and remanufactured color toner cartridges cost less than OEM cartridges while rivaling the performance of equivalent products from printer manufacturers.

Regardless of size, UTec general manager Iris Ngo explains that most companies are now actively looking for ways to save money. “Using UTec cartridges is a great way for corporate users to lower their internal color printing costs,” she says. In general, Ngo says UTec markets its color cartridges at less than half the OEM cartridge price providing UTec dealers with incredible sales opportunities. “UTec cartridges present end users a compelling value proposition because they perform like OEM cartridges and cost significantly less.” Moreover, Ngo adds that they deliver between five and ten percent more pages than the equivalent OEM product. “Providing low-cost quality color cartridges with higher page yields allows UTec customers to drive down operating costs for their end users,” she says.

According to Ngo, the present market offers UTec distributors a unique opportunity to grow their color toner cartridge sales along with market share. Despite growing consumer interest, overall aftermarket penetration of the color toner market has been slowed because so many third-party supplies firms market cartridges that are inferior to OEM products. The poor performance of these second-rate products has stymied market growth. Unlike most of its competitors, Print Rite follows ISO manufacturing and testing standards at its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility so it can consistently supply UTec with color cartridges that rival the price or performance—or both—of OEM products. “Because third-party supplies represent only a tiny share of the overall color toner cartridge market, there are tremendous growth opportunities for our distributors in this category,” Ngo says.

With over eight years producing supplies for color laser machines, Print-Rite has established itself as the leading expert in the field of color electrophotographic technology. The company has a long history of following the best manufacturing practices in the industry and was awarded ISO 9001 and 9002 quality management certification back in the 1990s. Its testing procedures and protocols are also based on ISO standards. Each year, Print Rite produces over a million compatible and remanufactured color toner cartridges that meet or exceed OEM performance. The firm offers dozens of cartridges employed in machines from all the leading hardware manufacturers. “With all our product introductions at the end of last year,” says Ngo, “we are uniquely positioned to meet the growing demand for low-cost, high-quality color laser toner cartridges for a range of color devices.”

That’s not going to work. You need a storage link or a NAS drive.

Ethernet to Usb. How to Share a Usb Printer

Sharing the printer with Windows traditional network sharing is not ideal. Printer status information, such as ink level, does not transmit well over traditional SMB printer sharing. A remote USB solution, on the other hand, makes the printer driver installed on a laptop behave as if the printer were directly attached. <a rel=”nofollow” onclick=”javascript:_gaq.push(['_trackPageview', '/outgoing/article_exit_link']);” href=”http://usb-over-network.com/usb-over-network.html”>Ethernet to USB</a> can easily accomplish this task. The program allows to work with remote USB devices over a local network or Internet. All one has to do is to install USB over Network Server on the PC where USB devices are plugged in. USB over Network Client must be installed on the PCs one wants to give access to those very USB devices already plugged in. Any user which has installed USB over Network Client can work with remote USB devices as if they were connected directly to his local PC. The advantages are quite obvious: there is no need to move USB devices from one computer to another or occupy others’ PCs to work with USB device. One can save your money considerably. There is no need to buy additional expensive equipment.
What if multifunctional printer is to be shared? Here is the brief problem description: “My old laptop failed and of course all the new ones come with the Vista operating system. At home I have a HP desktop (Vista Home Basic) connected to a Sharp AL-1642CS multifunction printer. I also use my laptop (Vista Home Premium) to share this printer. XP worked fine, but here is what Vista did. Either computer would print fine connected directly to the printer, but when shared the laptop only printed blank pages”. In this case the program sets up remotely just as if the printer was connected to a laptop. It also allows to use the scan function which normally would not be available with sharing. The Ethernet to USB program would allow using the multifunction without a print server or running more wires.
