TEW-673GRU Wireless USB Routers are high performance wireless N Gigabit routers with simultaneous dual band technology. The routers support two USB ports to allow you share USB Storage in one port, and share USB printer on the other port – eliminating separate storage server and print server or dedicated always-on computer for print server.

There are many benefits you can get with the computer networks; and couples of them are they allow you share one (or more) storage disk and one (or more) printer to be accessible by many users (computers) in the network. Typically you need to configure a computer (server) and configure it as the storage server to allow users on the network share the documents on the server.

With a share printer on the network, you require a wired print server or wireless print server and configure it to allow all the users on the network get access to the printer. Traditionally you configure a dedicated always-on computer and configure it as the print server, attach a multifunction printer in the USB port of the computer and configure it to be accessible by users on the network.

With TEW-673GRU Wireless USB routers, you can utilize the available two USB ports of the router and configure one port for print server and the other port for storage server (with the USB control utility). With this router, you can eliminate dedicated always-on computer for print server and storage server. Compared to other wireless routers in its class which are typically embedded with only one USB port (which allow you share storage or share printer in one time), TEW-673GRU offers you one step ahead of them by providing two USB ports to support both storage disk and print server in one time in a single router.
Note: If you plan on connecting a multi-function printer to the USB port on the TEW-673GRU, firstly you need to install the printer drivers on your computer. Then shutdown the printer and disconnect the printer from your computer.

Other General Features

TEW-673GRU Wireless USB routers are powered by the latest wireless technology – the final version of the wireless 802.11n standards which is combined with the smart antenna MIMO technology provides the unsurpassed dual-band wireless speed, coverage, and reliability with up to 14x the speed and 6x the coverage of a wireless g devices. The simultaneous dual-band technology creates two separate 300Mbps wireless N networks (both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands) at the same time. The good thing is that you can monitor what is going on with your networks including the performance, the security, and other device information via a color LCD management interface.

For the wired connections, TEW-673GRU wireless USB routers provide 4 x Gigabit Auto-MDIX Ethernet ports to allow you connect up to four computers with high-speed direct connection to the router. Besides, the router also supports 1x WAN Gigabit port to allow you connect to the high-speed Internet Service infrastructure such as high-speed DSL or DOCSIS 3 or EuroDOCSIS 3 Cable infrastructure.

Advanced Security

The other benefit with this router is that it supports multiple SSIDs to allow you create different security boundaries to segregate different security policies that meet different groups of users. You can provide guests different access with certain limitations separate from your private network. For wireless connection security, the router supports the latest industrial wireless security WPA/WPA2 including RADIUS for deployment in the corporate network that supports RADIUS. To allow Tele-workers connect to the network via the public network (aka the internet), the router supports multiple VPN pass-through sessions using L2TP, IPSec, and PPTP.

Configuration

Installation the router is quite easy. Connect one end of a RJ-45 cable to the TEW-673GRU’s WAN port and connect the other end of the cable to your modem (either Cable or DSL). To allow you configure the router, connect one computer direct to one of the router ports of the router. To access the router via the browser, you can type the default IP address of the TEW-673GRU which is 192.168.10.1 and press Enter. Type in default user-name and the default password admin, follow the installation wizard.

Hp Color Laserjet Cp2025X – Color Duplexor With Additional Paper Storage

The HP Color LaserJet CP2025x is similar in many respects to the other models in this HP line, including the HP Color LaserJet CP2025dn, but also includes, for the cost of about one hundred dollars extra, an additional paper tray that almost doubles the unit’s overall paper capacity. It also maintains the HP CP2025dn’s networking ability and duplex hardware as well, making it one of HP’s most high end color laser printers suitable for either the office or home business.

Coming equipped with a standard memory of 128 MBs, the HP Color LaserJet CP2025x should maintain its advertised print speed when dealing with low coverage workloads, however, a maximum memory upgrade of up to 384 MBs is optional for those dealing in full page color imagery, or complex output demands. A stunning 540 MHz processor should suit all demands just fine.

With dual 250 sheet input trays supplemented by a convenient 50 sheet multi purpose tray, the HP Color LaserJet CP2025x boasts a total paper input capacity of 550 sheets. While this feature is non upgradable, it should prove to be more than enough for the device’s intended buyers. A 150 sheet face down output bin is also incorporated into the hardware.

Though the multi purpose tray can be used for additional storage of standard legal or letter sized paper, it is unique in that it can also automatically load stacks of various special media types including bond, brochure, colored, glossy, letterhead, photo, plain, preprinted, pre punched, recycled, rough, transparencies, labels, and envelopes. Custom paper sizes can also be programmed for compatibility, down to as small as 3 x 5 inches.

Not only is a high speed USB port implemented for a single computer setup, but a built in network card also makes a Fast Ethernet 10/100 Base TX port possible for a wide array of networking options. HP also includes not only drivers and networking software, but a limited one year warranty as well that includes the option to return a defective product to any of HP’s authorized service providers.

A built in duplexor makes double sided printing totally automated, allowing users to take advantage of what is not only a cost effective feature, but a versatile one as well, opening up the doors beyond standard document printing to the possibilities for attractive, color pamphlets, booklets, etc.

The HP Color LaserJet CP2025x operates at a print speed of 21 pages per minute in either black and white or color modes, while first page out times run at 17.2 seconds for monochrome printing, and, falling not far behind, 17.7 seconds for color. Resolutions run slightly low for a color device, at only 600 x 600 dots per inch, which means that while the HP Color LaserJet CP2025x remains affordable, it isn’t appropriate for photo quality production.

A reasonably small footprint keeps the HP Color LaserJet CP2025x just barely in the desktop printer category, with dimensions of 15.9 x 19.1 x 16.6 in (W x D x H) and a weight of 61.3 pounds, making it a powerful option for either home or office use.
