Don’t buy into Marketing Hype; phrases like “Professionally Remanufactured”, “Save 50% to 70%”, etc. What is professionally remanufactured? There are no guidelines, no agency overseeing the process, no quality control, no regulations. It doesn’t mean anything! How are you to know how much ink goes back into the cartridge? What is the quality of ink the remanufacturer is using? And what are you saving 50% off?
It is a very common practice of websites to compare remanufactured cartridges to BRAND NEW cartridge prices. It just doesn’t add up! On average a remanufactured printer ink cartridge will sell for 1/3rd less than a brand new cartridge. That’s it! It’s simple economics, break down the costs, compare the competition, and you get 1/3rd less cost – not 50 to 70%! But 1/3rd can save you $ 10 to $ 20 per cartridge!
