I can’t find all HP drivers in Mac OS X Leopard for a printer attached via a networked Windows machine? Help?

The printer is an HP Color Laserjet 3600n. I know the driver, as well as most every printer driver out there, is included in Leopard. However, when I try to connect to it as a networked printer attached to a Windows machine it requires me to choose the correct driver and does not automatically work like it does via hard USB connection. Only an abbreviated list shows up which does not include any drivers that look like they are appropriate. I’ve already downloaded and installed the Mac drivers for the printer and it doesn’t change the list that I have to choose from. This is one of a handful of networked printers attached to Windows machines that I’m having trouble connecting to. Any help is appreciated. I’m a new Mac user and I’m hoping I’m missing something simple here. Thanks!

What print server is compatible with OS X and Windows XP?

I want to print wirelessly from 2 laptops-one is a Macbook Pro (OS X) antd the other is a Dell (Windows XP). My desktop to which my printer is hooked up also runs Windows XP. I had bought a Linksys (WPSM54G) print server but had to return it because the CD for drive installation wouldn’t run on the MAC.

Windows terminal services remote printing?

Hello, I have a business with 2 seperate offices. The main office uses a server to house an industry specific software program the employees use. All computers in that office access the database on the server via LAN connections. Employees at the satellite office use terminal services to connect to the server where they then operate the software program from the server desktop using a limited user account.
I need to know how to set the server up so that employees at the satellite office can print their work out on the Brother HL-5250DN network laser printer at their office.
I would like to set up the remote office printer on the server at the main office. I am not familiar with how this process works. The printer has it’s own ip address on the network. Is there a way to open a port to it under the router or is there another way?

I need help installing HP color laserjet 2840 PCL6 with Windows Vista?

I’m *not* a dummy when it comes to computers, but I cannot for the life of me figure this out.

My computer is in one room of our house. We have an HP Color LaserJet 2840 PCL6 connected to another computer, in another room, in our house. My “old” Windows XP computer connected wirelessly through the network to the printer w/o any problems at all. The printer is connected to the other computer, not to the wireless router.

My new Vista computer *finds* the printer on the other computer, but tells me “no driver” is installed. I’ve tried the driver disk I have (even tried changing the compatibility settings on my computer for it). Nope.

I’ve gone online, and tried downloading a PCL6 universal driver for Vista 64-bit (that’s what I have, 64-bit), and it will not install that driver (tried two different ways).

I feel as though I’m beating my head on a brick wall, trying for hours and hours, different drivers, nothing works.

I need **step by step** instructions as to how to do this. Anyone? Someone? Bueller? Please?

TIA.
