I have an interview coming up for a jr admin position that deals only with creating, deleting, and monitoring print queues on the server. Just curious to know what type of troubleshooting do admin normally experience with on the print side of things (e.g. print drivers, duplexing, queue mismatches, etc.)

Pretty much what you’ve said.
A print server admin deals mostly with the stupidity of human users. Corrupted drivers and lost port and passwords due to crashes on individual work stations, improper commands jamming the printer queues. The admin is also responsible for installing drivers and port selection when new computers are added. Upgrading and resetting the server and individual workstations due to OS upgrades can take a lot of time and energy.
Physical and wireless connection issues are becoming a larger problem as configuration becomes more complicated.
All of these are under serious time constraints because everyone’s work is more important than anyone else’s work in a corporate environment.
